The Chaos

So right now, I think I am busier then I have ever been.  I guess that is a good thing, but it adds a lot of stress.  Here is an example of the Chaos!

Projects - Future and Done.

So in this picture are some future projects and some projects that are finished and waiting to be installed.  In the left hand corner laying on the love seat are drapery panels that are currently rod pocket and they need to become pleated.  Then there is the chair and ottoman they are getting re-upholstered, next are 2 end tables and we are going to put very cool wall paper over the mirrored top (because the mirrors reflects a big round spots on the ceiling).  Then 2 cushions from a nursery rocker that need to be recovered.  The 18′ Panels that I worked on last week are bagged and ready for install, just waiting on the hardware.  I will hopefully have pictures of them installed soon.  Then the bag next to it is a finished bedskirt, the valance and panels to go with it are hanging in the workroom.

Finished Drapery Panels

These panels are finished and need to be bagged,  they are part of the bedskirt, valance and panels job, and just waiting for an install date.  Hopefully next week sometime.

Before Chair

This chair  and ottoman is my next project, I will probably start stripping today!

Future Fabric for Upholstery Job

The before chair is beautiful, but I think the client is looking for a more update contemporary style.  So the fabric on the ottoman is the future look of the chair and ottoman.  This job is for another workroom that does great window treatments but has not ventured into the re-upholstery end of the business.  Thanks Lois for letting me bid on the job!

So as you can see I will have a lot of future posts to show you if I can find the time.  I will try to remember to take some in between pictures of some of the cooler projects.  Thanks for stopping by!

I’m glad to see that I’m not the only one who has projects laying in rooms other than the workroom! Yes, it is stressful, but aren’t you glad for so much work?
